Welcome to all
Dark Shadows Fans!
Welcome to Dark Shadows fans from "the
most evil lady who ever lived" -- or at least that's how
I was referred to when I was playing Eve on DS. I've gotten
to know many of you through the DS Festivals, but I know
there are some who can't get to these wonderful weekends, or
worse yet, don't know anything about them. I hope to fill that
gap and to keep our regular Festival-goers up to date with this
Web site. You'll see updates on Festival and personal
appearances including photos with my co-stars and fans, my theatrical
scrapbook with stories and photos of many theatre productions,
and my photography gallery (I'm also a professional photographer.)
My career memoir, On Stage & In Shadows was published
in 2005, and is available on Barnes&Noble.com
and Amazon.com.It
can also be purchased at your favorite bookstore or at our Festivals.
And, there's a fabulous special offer, that you'll find
as you read on.
It's always been such fun to see our faithful fans
at the Festivals, and now it's great to be in touch with all
of you through my Web site.
Hope you enjoy it.

Dark Shadows Festivals get better
and better each year - that's what all the fans tell me, and
I think so too!
This past one took place on August 14, 15 & 16th at the Renaissance Newark Airport Hotel
in beautiful, downtown Elizabeth, New Jersey
I was there along with Jonathan Frid, Lara Parker, Kathryn Leigh
Scott, John Karlen, and Jerry Lacy.
We had planned to have Donna Wandrey there, but I'm sorry to
say that she ended up with a terrible
summer cold and wasn't able to be there. She was disappointed,
and we actors and her fans were equally so.
But those of us who were there had a glorious time.

Theatrical
Early this year I was in the production
of Mark Finley's "The Chiselers" for the Emerging Artists
Theatre's SPRING EATFEST 2009
I played the marvelous character of Beverly Carstairs and had
a wonderful director, Melissa Attebery, who guided us through
the production with great expertise. We did our last performance
on Saturday, March 7th, and I was sorry to see it end. But we
had a lovely packed house, with many DS fans, and we all had
a great time.

Larry Storch and Stiller
& Meara and Me
I recently had the pleasure of being filmed
for an upcoming documentary about Larry Storch. It was a fun
day and I have a few photos to show that enjoyment. Anne Meara
and Jerry Stiller also were interviewed that day and they were
delightful. Larry, as always, kept me laughing all day.

My friend, Larry Storch, (Corporal
Agarn, of F Troop), just sent me this copy of a photo
of us when we were rehearsing for a production of I Oughta
Be in Pictures. It was in 1981 at The Hampton Playhouse in
Hampton, New Hampshire. We had such a marvelous time doing that
show. There are lots of stories about it in my book, On Stage
& In Shadows. |

Craig Hamrick & Michael Karol

Craig Hamrick and Michael Karol are the editors of my book,
On Stage & In Shadows, and gave me invaluable guidance
and encouragement throughout. (Craig, Im so sorry to say, passed
away) He was a very talented photographer, also designed the
cover and I love it. Both Michael and Craig have written many
fabulous books, which I highly recommend. Read in detail about
their work and how to purchase them by going to

Sleeps
Well With Others
My friend and one of my editors, Michael Karol, has written
yet another book. It's a prequel to the 2003 gay vampire hit
Kiss Me, Kill Me.
Ray Abreu, the hero of Kiss Me, Kill Me, is back --
as a gay youngster, growing up in a repressed small town and
feeling the pain...that is, until he gets sent by his parents
to an all-male sleepaway camp in the Adirondack Mountains in
upper New York State. There, Ray experiences a gradual flowering
and realization of his homoerotic feelings, and grows from a
shy, retiring boy into a person who can stand up for himself.
But he's unaware of the deadly presence "standing up"
for him behind the scenes. This unique prequel is spiked with
sex, thrills, and chills -- but then, whose adolescence isn't? |
